Rizwan helps Pakistan enter Asia Cup Super Four with huge win

38 as their bowlers advanced them to the Asia Cup Super Four Stage.

In a crucial Twenty20 match, Pakistan scored 193-2 thanks to a 116-run partnership between Rizwan (78 not out) and Fakhar Zaman (53), who were given the opportunity

to bat first on a sluggish, low Sharjah surface. Then, spinners Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz combined for seven wickets to dismiss Hong Kong for 155 runs in 10.4 overs, the largest T20 victory margin for Pakistan.

Hong Kong's 69 versus Nepal in 2014 was their lowest T20 international total. After they dismissed the West Indies for 60 in 2018, it was also the lowest score against Pakistan by any team.

In round two of the six-nation competition that serves as a warm-up for the T20 World Cup in Australia in October-November, Pakistan joins Afghanistan, India, and Sri Lanka.

Man of the Match Rizwan told reporters that "everyone can witness our performance and effort."    "Boys are giving it their all, working well as a team, and meeting the needs of our country. The outcome is in God's hands.

In the third over of Hong Kong's inning, pace bowler Naseem Shah struck twice, including the eight-point dismissal of captain Nizakat Khan.    "Naseem Shah is on the verge of becoming another fast-bowling legend. Shaheen Shah Afridi (out with a knee injury) cannot be replaced, but Naseem is developing.
