Tabraiz Shamsi, a left-arm wristspin bowler with variations and a strong googly, emerged as South Africa warmed to the wave of home spinners.
After a good 2013-14 season for Easterns, Shamsi moved between the Highveld and Kwa-Zulu Natal. He collected 47 wickets at 20.02 to finish third in the three-day cup wicket-takers’ list.
