Can Ronaldo win the World Cup?
Portugal was placed in Group H, where they will compete for a spot in the Round of 16 with Ghana, Uruguay, and Korea Republic.
They got off to a strong start on November 24 by defeating Ghana 3-2, then on November 28 they defeated Uruguay 2-0 to secure their spot in the round of 16. On December 2, they meet South Korea to close out group play.
Ronaldo became the first player to score in five World Cup finals by scoring his eighth goal against Ghana, but he cut a grumpy figure when replaced in South Korea’s 2-1 victory in the dead rubber.
