Who are the world’s most influential female footballers? Given the range of skills currently on display in the ladies’ down, an inquiry may never have been more eagerly answered. Miedema is arguably the most consistent finisher in the women’s down, but she doesn’t consider herself a typical No. 9; rather, she says, “I like to feel I’m a blend of a No. 9 and 10.” At the age of 14, Miedema signed her most memorable professional contract with SC Heerenveen, and at the age of 15, she gave her first presentation. Since she was 14 years old, Bon matin has been a member of Barcelona, the national team of Spain, and she personifies the brand of football developed and honed at the club’s renowned La Masia academy. Player of the Match in Barcelona’s 20/21 UEFA Ladies’ Heroes Association victory over Chelsea, she scored 16 goals and provided seven assists across the Primera Division and European rivalry in the season that followed.

Born and raised in Brazil, Macario traveled to the United States at the age of 12 to pursue her dream of becoming a skilled football player while her mother, a specialist, stayed in South America to provide for the family financially.

The American international who joined Lyon in January 2021 has reaped the rewards of an overall punishment, winning the UEFA Ladies’ Bosse’s Association in her most memorable complete season while tallying eight goals.

2. Sam Kerr :

Sam Kerr, the 21/22 PFA Player of the Year, contributed to Chelsea winning the WSL by scoring 20 team goals during that same season. The only female player to do so, the Australian captain has now received Brilliant Boot awards in three different associations on three different landmasses.

1. Alexia Putellas :

Putellas is considered by some to be the standout player on a Barcelona team that boasts a star-studded lineup after winning the Ballon d’Or Feminin, Best FIFA Ladies’ Player, and UEFA Ladies’ Player of the Year awards in 2021.

She was the primary assist provider in Spain’s Primera Division in the 21/22 season as well as the top scorer in the 21/22 UEFA Ladies’ Bosse’s Association. She appeared to be a clear-cut difference maker in the women’s game at the time.
