Asia Cup Live Updates: IND vs. HKG: In Group A of the Asia Cup, India takes against Hong Kong at the Dubai International Stadium.
India vs Hong Kong
India, having edged out Pakistan on Sunday, will look to finish its group stage campaign with a big win.
While team India won a last-over thriller against Pakistan in their opening fixture, Hong Kong will be playing their first game of the tournament. They beat UAE, Kuwait, and Singapore to qualify for the league stage of the tournament becoming the 6th team in the Asia Cup 2022 league stage.
India will take on Hong Kong in a Group A matchup in the Asia Cup at the Dubai International Stadium. India aims to secure an automatic position in the Super 4 after defeating archrivals Pakistan in a thrilling match. The Rohit Sharma-led team will try to prevent Hong Kong from causing any surprises like they did in the continental event’s 2018 edition.
Notably, Hong Kong had had a batting collapse after a strong start when India defeated them by just 26 runs at that time. On the other hand, Hong Kong had to compete in the qualifying rounds in order to advance to the Asia Cup group stage. The two teams will be competing against one another in T20Is for the first time.
