Schedule, match list, roster, matches, groups, live telecast, and details for the 2022 Asia Cup. Dates for the 2022 Asia Cup have been released. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced that Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will host the event in the United Arab Emirates, which resulted in a venue change from Sri Lanka to the UAE.

Along with the competition’s schedule, the start and conclusion dates of the Asia Cup 2022 have been made public. The 2022 Asia Cup will begin on August 27 and finish on September 11 of that year.

Since the ICC T20 World Cup is slated to take place in Australia later this year, the competition will be contested under the T20 format to provide the six participating Asian teams a major time to warm up before that event.

This year’s Asia Cup will include a total of 6 teams, with India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan being the 5 teams who have been officially confirmed thus far. For the sixth berth in the Asia Cup 2022, the UAE, Kuwait, Singapore, and Hong Kong will compete in a qualifying match.

Sri Lanka Cricket will serve as the event’s host in 2022. Earlier, Sri Lanka was supposed to host the competition. However, the Asian Cricket Council opted to switch the location of the major competition owing to ongoing political and economic upheaval in the country.

Later, it was determined that the tournament’s new location would be in the UAE. As a result, Sri Lanka Cricket will host the competition at the new site in the UAE. Three sites will host all of the matches because the UAE is the tournament’s location. They are the Sharjah Cricket Stadium and the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
